Sunnydale High School is rebuilt and reopened, once
again becoming the epicentre of evil.
Buffy becomes the High School's new guidance
counselor. A job that once more lands her in the thick
of teen angst.
Willow returns to Sunnydale having spent months in
England with Giles learning to control the magic, both
good and bad, inside of her.
Spike returns from his epic journey to the other side of the
world. However, he's slightly more bizarre than usual.
Xander and Anya try to start rebuilding the bridges that they
burned in Season Six. Finally coming back to an amicable and
steady friendship.
Season Seven's big bad appears in the non-corporeal form of
the First, an ancient being who can change into the form of any
dead person it wants, including Buffy.
The first bring with him the almightly power and voice of Caleb,
a woman hating, mysagonistic priest who's one desire is destroying
the world and all who inhabit it.
Giles returns to Sunnydale to fight the First, armed with an ill
equipt group of Potential Slayers whose number swells as the
season moves on. One of these Potentials in a young, fiery girl
who has an interesting affect on Willow.
The Principal of the High School, Robin Wood, becomes an
intriguing member of the group, only to reveal that he has an
emotional tie with Spike.
Andrew, one of the trio from Season Six becomes the groups
hostage and provides some welcome comic relief.
