David Patrick Boreanaz was born on 16 May 1971 in Buffalo, New York,
USA to Patty and David (a weatherman in Philadelphia).
As a youngster, David loved to play football. Unfortunately a knee injury
forced him to drop out of the game and give up on his dream of playing
professionally.
For some this sudden turn of events would have meant the end of hope,
and although David was crushed, For him it meant that he could turn his
attention to his secret love. Acting.
After leaving college, Dave moved to Hollywood and began the usual
rounds of odd jobs to pay the bills and auditions. Not having a great deal
of success (aside from a slot on Married With Children) David eventually
began acting in the teastre. It was around this time when, one day as he was
walking his dog, David was approached on the street by a Hollywood manager who wanted to know if he was an actor. David replied yes and landed himself the role of Angel on Buffy.
Dave spent three years on Buffy, honing his skills and his character when Joss Whedon approached him and offered him the chance on expand his character on his own show. The rest is Hollywood legend.
In 1997, David married screen writer Ingrid Quinn. However, after only two years the couple divorced in 1999.
Feeling that he needed time to heal, David gave dating a rest.and concentrated on Angel. A few months after his divorce he became involved with ctress/modell Jaime Bergman and on November 24, 2001 the pair married. a year later they gave birth to their son Jaden Rayne.
Angel now finished its fifth and final season.
